(Wausau, Wisc.) – A locally owned optometry practice group will soon be moving two if its Pearle Vision offices to new locations.
The Pearle Vision offices in Antigo and Mosinee are run by Midline Vision Group, which is owned by the husband-and-wife team of Dr. Jeremy and Kati Goetsch of Wausau. The couple has worked together since 2009. In that time, they have built a team of more than 25 people across six patient-care locations and a central administrative office in Wausau.
“We are already able to provide excellent care at our practice locations in Antigo and Mosinee, and we look forward to further improving those patient care areas,” says Kati Goetsch. “Our new buildings near Fleet Farm in Antigo and near the interstate in Mosinee will be very easy to find, especially for new patients or those coming in from nearby communities. We’re absolutely thrilled to have found such wonderful locations in each city.”
The renovations are expected to begin over the summer or early fall, and the doors will open on the two new spaces in the late fall or early winter.
“We will be fully open and operational at our current locations until we’re ready to move into our new spaces,” says Dr. Jeremy Goetsch. “Even then, we don’t expect any downtime – we’ll still be open five days a week.”
Dr. Goetsch has been serving patients in the Antigo area for almost two years and in Mosinee for almost three. Midline Vision Group took the reins of Antigo Vision Clinic from Dr. Rick Kjome in September 2020, and of Leach Eye Care from Dr. Kathi Leach in August 2019.
Dr. Jessica Bloom Braunel, who is also a Wausau-area native, joined the practice in the summer of 2021. Her passion for ocular healthcare first began when she worked in an optometry practice owned by her uncle, Dr. Thomas Prichard.
Dr. Goetsch and Dr. Braunel care for a wide variety of eye health conditions, from routine well-visits and refractions to more complicated medical conditions like dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye care. They have strong relationships with other local physicians to manage all aspects of their patients’ care.
“We have specialized training and equipment that allow us to manage both routine and complicated health conditions for our patients, and to detect and diagnose things that might otherwise go untreated,” says Dr. Braunel. “Many health conditions can be detected during eye exams, and we are well set up to help our patients navigate the treatment options available to them through our practice and our local referral networks. Our new office spaces will be designed with the flexibility and growth in mind that will allow us to lean into the level of care that our patients need from us.”
“In our Antigo and Mosinee offices, we’ve invested well over $100,000 in cutting-edge medical equipment since 2019, which helps us offer the best care possible to our patients in this region of the state,” adds Dr. Goetsch. “Plus, we’ll soon have hundreds more frame choices per store than we had just a few years ago. If anyone hasn’t come to visit us recently, I encourage them to come in to experience the updates we’ve already been working on and what we have planned for the future. We want our patients to be confident that they will receive excellent eye care from any of our practice locations.”
Both Dr. Goetsch and Dr. Braunel are accepting new patients at each location. Appointments can be scheduled online at PearleVision.com or by calling each office directly: 715-623-2180 (Antigo) or 715-693-2400 (Mosinee).
