Jan. 22, 2020 - Local optometry practice to become a Pearle Vision

(Mosinee, Wisc.) – A local optometry practice is under new ownership and is getting a new name. Midline Vision, owned by Dr. Jeremy Goetsch, acquired Dr. Kathi Leach’s optometry practice in August 2019. He and his team have been working toward this transition to a Pearle Vision since then, and the practice will officially change names in just a few weeks.

Pearle Vision is a national eye care brand with many of its locations owned and operated by local franchisees, as is the case in Mosinee. Dr. Goetsch and his group also own a Pearle Vision just outside of Madison.

“My wife and I opened our first Pearle Vision in 2011 when we lived in Madison before moving back home to Wausau in 2015,” says Dr. Goetsch. “We love being able to offer a local neighborhood eye care experience to our patients with the support and name-recognition of the Pearle Vision brand. Adding a new ‘home practice’ for me in Mosinee was an easy choice since it’s so close to our home in Rib Mountain and easily accessible to patients who live in Wausau, Stevens Point, Marshfield, and lots of other communities in Central Wisconsin.”

Aside from the new name, some changes to the practice include updated diagnostic technology, a move to electronic health records for better patient security, an online appointment scheduling system coming soon, and a wider price range for frames from popular brands like Ray-Ban, Oakley, Coach, Tiffany, Michael Kors, and Nike.

Even with a new name and owner, the practice’s focus on patients will stay the same.
